The following are possible scams that may be targeting Exhibitors:

NEW SCAM ALERT:If you receive a call/email from someone purporting to be the official hotel/accommodation provider, THIS IS A SCAM.We do not employ an agency for accommodations. All accommodations are made directly to the hotel by the exhibitor/attendee.

If you receive an email from “billings@oilsands-tradeshow.com” asking for payment for “cleaning services” – it is a SCAM. Cleaning services for booth space at Oil Sands Conference and Trade Show are included in your Booth Package.

If you receive emails or calls from a person or organization trying to sell you data or purport to have the Oil Sands Expo database/attendee list, this is a SCAM. EventWorx (organizers of Oil Sands Expo), do not rent, sell, share, or distribute attendee or exhibitor data in accordance with Canada’s FOIP and CASL laws.

If you receive emails or calls asking you to pay for a listing for an event catalogue or guide, this is a SCAM. Listings for Oil Sands Expo are payable at the time of signing the official Oil Sands Expo Exhibitor Contract, and no additional fees or listing fees is required from you.
